A: Coming up on 1 year on May 20th
What is your love story?
A: Our relationship began by us meeting each other through a family friend. We started out texting and talking on the phone for a long time. We finally upgraded to going out on our very first date to see the movie, "Flight". From that date, we went on many more to the point where we both decided that we wanted to become boyfriend and girlfriend officially on November 20, 2012! I remember that date as if it was yesterday! After four wonderful years of dating and falling in love with each other day in and day out, he finally asked me for my hand in marriage on January 16, 2016 in Savannah, GA. Of course, I said yes, and we have been enjoying this thing called life together ever since!
How did you know your husband was the one?
A: I knew my husband was the one because he loved me in spite of my flaws. He became my best friend, my confidant, and everything in between. He knew just what to say whenever I would have a bad day, and knew just what to say to make my day even better than what it was. He continuously prayed for me as well as our relationship on a daily basis. He always had my best interest at heart. He always accepted me for me, and to him I was always enough!
What was the best part about your wedding day?
A: The best part about my wedding day would definitely be our first dance together. It not only signified to me that he was my forever love, but he was the only person that I wanted to dance through life with.,
What is one piece of advice you would like to share to a newlywed?
A: One piece of advice I would like to share to a newlywed would be to always communicate with one another. Communication is key and plays a major part in a marriage.
What is one or two pre-marriage tips or scriptures you would give a bride?
A: Two premarriage tips I would give to a bride would be to make sure you have a developed friendship with your significant other, and to always let your future husband know that you are his biggest fan.
What does living a life Faith + Fulfillment mean to you?
A: Living a life of faith and fulfillment means to me to always keep God first and no matter what happens, never lose hope. Pray continuously and always remember that no matter the situation, greater things are in store.
