We met on Facebook, actually, in the Fall of 2011. I was planning an event for my sorority in college and his fraternity agreed to participate. We met in person in November 2011. How did you know your husband was the one?
I knew Alston was the one for me when he took the time out to plan a surprise birthday party for me for my 22nd birthday. What made this particular birthday special was that I never really had a birthday party growing up, so the fact that he took time out to plan something for me meant everything to me.
What was the best part about your wedding day?
There were so many great moments on our wedding day, so if I had to choose one it would be when we recited our vows to each other that we wrote. I vowed to pray for him daily, love him wholeheartedly, and to protect him fiercely.

What does living a life Faith + Fulfillment mean to you?
Living a life of faith and fulfillment means to live out what I believe. I don't want to be a person who simply hears the Word of God and not act on it. I want to live it out loud, so that the scriptures come alive in me. It takes faith to fulfill anything in life. If you don't believe in yourself and your dreams then who will?
